Since BlooLabs opened for business in 2000, we have bred scores of Labrador and Bloodhound puppies, nurtured them and then delivered them to their new owners. We often wonder what has become of them, but of course most of our clients prefer to keep that information private. Some however tell us about how "our" pups have developed and taken their places in their new families, and this page tells some of those stories. Where Are They Now?

One BlooLabs alumnus has a career in modelling!
This is Red with a couple of models from the Tretorn clothing and footwear company, which is from Sweden. Some of the models were touring through New Hampshire during the Spring of 2007.
This dog lives with his family in Goshen, NH. Red is the son of Blue and Beatrice, whom are pictured on our Bloodhound page. Red and Blue both had photo shoots with several models. Photos displayed on this companies site were taken at the owners home of Red and Blue, in New Hampshire. We hope to add more photos soon.

Lisa & Brian:
Ada Mae is a female bloodhound puppy I purchased from you on 7-7-07 (what a lucky day!!!) She is very happy & healthy. I cannot say enough good things about her.
She is currently living in Auburn, NY nestled in the Fingerlakes region. She is the "neighborhood" dog. Everyone loves her & knows where she is...especially when she howls. She enjoys her new home & going up to the firehouse with her dad (Dan is a volunteer fireman) as well as going to grandmas to play in the water with her big sister (a black lab).
Ada is very well behaved, however has quite a mind of her own. She is a joy to be around & have. Ada just got a new sister about a month ago (Aubrey, a black lab puppy). Ada enjoys playing with her & they seem to be great friends, Ada does always want mom & dad's affection first though. She is such a joy & I can't thank you enough for having such great dogs. I will keep you up to date on her.
Thank you again for such a wonderful dog.

Hi Lisa!
Loudon did great at his last puppy kindergarten class..... Loudon is very trainable, but as you can probably guess not the best leash walker. He sort of walks me - ha-ha. Funny thing is I don't mind it - he's a hound and that is part of his nature -nose down, off and running. I'm sure with enough training I could change that and he would learn to walk nice on a leash, but I think I would rather preserve his natural instincts. It drives Chris crazy. We take Loudon out around the development a lot and one minute I'm standing there talking to the neighbor and the next minute Loudon hears or smells something and my conversation ends abruptly as I'm pulled halfway down the block. Must be funny to watch because as I run after Loudon the girls run after me and all three of us are belly laughing so hard our eyes tear. Chris worries too much. He says someday Loudon is gonna pull my arm out of the socket! Of coarse I make it worse by saying "no problem - nowadays limb reattachment surgery is only a two day stay at the hospital."
Hi Lisa,
Well, although very nervous we took Loudon to the dog beach here in NJ today. He loves all dogs so he got along with everyone, and he doesn't mind water so he played and waded by the edge for quite some time. Then all of a sudden he goes hopping in to swim away. There was only one problem - I was still holding the leash. So, Loudon swam.... with me in tow, clothes and all. Most people let their dogs run free up and down the beach, but not me. If Loudon ran I ran too. If he played with other dogs I was right there tangled in the leash. And of coarse when he swam I swam. I did give it a test and unhooked his leash, but that only lasted about two minutes. His nose went down and off he went. So, the girls and I ran after him and decided he is not the type of dog who stays close to his family -that nose! Some of the other dog owners were telling us just let him go, he'll be fine -but the girls and I knew better. I'm not sure who had more fun the girls watching him or Loudon himself.
Tell Brian hello from Jersey. I'll keep in touch -Tara
Lisa,
Well, talking about my Bloodhound is one of my favorite pass times, so make a cup of tea, get comfortable and I'll fill you in........
Loudon has become quite behaved. Most days are uneventful now. He gave up counter surfing, but no matter what we try we can't seem to get him to stop checking out the garbage. Every week when I go shopping and Loudon sees the bags from the food store he transforms into "Angel Dog." He sits in the middle of kitchen waiting for me to get finished putting everything away because he just knows there must be something for him. I guess I started that when he was a puppy. Sometimes I might only give him a cheeze-it cracker and that is good enough for him, but a lot of times I bring him new toys. I've gotten smarter and don't spend much money on the toys I buy him because within a half an hour he has all the stuffing pulled out all over the living room. Would you believe he then carries the empty shell of a toy around until he gets a new one?! He likes his toys unstuffed -weird right?
It amazes me how smart Loudon is and how he has all of us figured out. He still won't leave the bedroom without me in the morning and from time to time he rolls around on the carpet by our bed until I get down there with him for a little cuddle time. Believe me he still looks for trouble once in a while but mostly he is happy making us happy. Your dogs are all awesome and Loudon is awesome so someday we would like to get Loudon another awesome dog for his buddy. Talk to you soon -Tara
